Dacia va lansa Loganul pe GPL in Franta

Dacia lanseaza pe piata din hexagon modelul Logan cu motor de 1.4 litri alimentat cu GPL. Lansarea urmeaza cererilor venite odata cu lansarea modelului Sandero in luna martie a acestui an.

taken into account.

Dacia’s family sedan Logan is to be released in LPG form at unbeatable prices, with order books opening across the network on June 12, 2009.

o Tax-paid catalogue prices for Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG start from €8,700:

o Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG emits just 135g of CO2/km and consequently qualifies for the

€2,000 eco-bonus scheme for LPG vehicles that emit 135g or less of CO2/km.

o Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG is also eligible for the €1,000 state rebate awarded when

purchasing a new vehicle which emits less than 160g of CO2/km and trading in a vehicle

aged 10 years or more for scrap purposes.

o This means that Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG can be bought for a tax-paid price of just

€5,700 with the eco-bonus and the trade-in-for scrap schemes both taken into account.

certified factory in Pitesti, Romania, and is 95 per cent recoverable by weight at the end of

its useful life, while more than five per cent of the plastics it contains are sourced from

recycling. It consequently qualifies for the Dacia eco² signature.

o Economical to buy and run. As of June 11, the average price of LPG in France was €0.62/litre.

o Reliable: the LPG tank incorporates several safety features: anti-return valve, fill restrictor (80

DACIA LOGAN 1.4 MPI 75 LPG: MORE ECOLOGICALLY FRIENDLY, ECONOMICAL AND

RELIABLE

Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG rounds off Dacia’s line-up of Dacia eco² versions. This new version comes in

addition to Sandero and Logan dCi 70 and dCi 85 (120g of CO2/km), Sandero and Logan 1.2 16V (139g of

CO2/km) and Sandero 1.4 MPI 75 LPG, introduced in March 2009.

With CO2 emissions of just 135g/km, Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG is a vehicle which contributes to the

respect of the environment. LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is respectful of the environment. In the case of a

1.4-litre engine, using LPG fuel results in a CO2 emissions saving of almost 20 per cent compared with exclusive

use of petrol. LPG contains neither sulphur, lead nor benzene, and its combustion does not produce any

particulates.

Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG is economical, both to buy and run. The pump price of LPG is particularly

competitive, and is the cheapest fuel in France at an average price of €0.62/litre. It is also available across the

country in 1,780 service stations. LPG vehicles qualify for generous tax incentives, too: Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75

LPG emits 135g of CO2/km and is consequently eligible for the country’s €2,000 eco-bonus. On top of that,

registration documents for LPG vehicles are either entirely or partially tax-free in many of France’s

departments.

It is also worth noting that Dacia Logan is a dual-mode vehicle with separate tanks for petrol and LPG. Dacia

Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG thus offers fuel-flexibility – the driver selects the fuel type thanks to a button

located at the bottom of the gearbox – along with record range. Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG can cover

more than 1,200km on full tanks of petrol (tank capacity of 50 liters) and LPG (tank capacity of 42 liters).

Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI LPG is a reliable and safe vehicle. The LPG hardware was designed by the world’s

leading specialist, Landi Renzo and is fitted at the Pitesti plant in Romania. Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG

complies fully with the group’s exacting safety standards, as well as with the appropriate European safety

standards (ECE 67-01). The steel fuel tank is extremely strong and, in keeping with European legislation, is

equipped with a long list of safety equipment: anti-return valve, fill limiter (80 per cent), flow restrictor and solenoid

safety valve.

The LPG tank has been fitted to keep the boot capacity (510 dm3 VDA) of the Dacia Logan, confirming the

unbeatable price/equipment/roominess ratio of the vehicle.

Last but by no means least, the 1.4 engine (K7J) is robust, as it has demonstrated under the bonnet of numerous

other Renault and Dacia models. To enable it to run on LPG, it has undergone specific modifications (specially

treated valves and valve seats).

The 1.4 engine complies fully with the criteria of cost, robustness and ease of servicing which characterize all

Dacias. Its maximum power output is 55kW (75hp) at 5,500rpm, while peak torque stands at 112Nm at 3,000rpm.

As is the case with all the group’s petrol engines, the servicing interval for the 1.4 engine is every

30,000km or every two years, irrespective of the type of fuel employed (petrol or LPG). The car’s first

scheduled service is after its first 15,000km on the road.

Dacia Logan 1.4 MPI 75 LPG comes with a three-year or 100,000km warranty, depending on which

threshold is reached first.
