PEUGEOT 408, model 2026

The new PEUGEOT 408, model year 2026, is positioned in the C segment, a segment in which PEUGEOT offers a diversified range, including a hatchback model (308), an estate model (308 SW), and two SUVs (3008 and 5008), all available with electric and electrified powertrains.

With its electric motor, the PEUGEOT E-408 delivers 213 hp (157 kW) and 343 Nm of torque. Beyond performance, efficiency is a central element in the design and development of the new PEUGEOT E-408. The new vehicle has a declared electric energy consumption of just 14.7 kWh/100 km (a figure that may differ in real-world conditions). Combined with a high-voltage NMC battery* with a usable capacity of 58.2 kWh, it achieves a driving range of 456 km (WLTP combined cycle).
Battery composition: 80% nickel, 10% manganese, 10% cobalt.

The available range meets the needs of most customers in the C segment, who travel an average of 45 km per day, according to industry studies. It is also capable of reaching more distant destinations for longer journeys when required.

The onboard charger of the PEUGEOT E-408 supports charging power of up to 120 kW, allowing the battery to be recharged from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes.
